ASC Autumn Update

Happy Autumn ASC sled enthusiasts.

We hope that everyone had a great summer.  There have been many rumours over the past few months regarding the fate of snowmobiling in Ontario.  There have been media releases from the OFSC this past week.  The good news for ASC is providing that mother nature cooperates, we will have groomed trails for another season .

Exciting news for us is we have entered into a contract with Blue Spruce Resort to build a year-round groomer storage addition to their existing shop.  Blue Spruce Resort has been a great supporter of everything ASC for decades…thank you!!  Financial donations towards the addition will be greatly appreciated and can be e-transferred to algonquinsc@gmail.com.  We’ll be reaching out for volunteers to do the build once we have definitive dates.

OFSC Trail Permits are on sale.  Our trails, grooming equipment, repairs and maintenance rely on the funds generated through permit sales.  Snowmobiles being operated on prescribed OFSC trails require a permit.  Purchase your seasonal permits during October to beat the price increase in November.

We’re excited for another snowmobiling season and are always welcoming new volunteers.
