Trails and mother nature...

Hello everyone,

Over the past week we were able to pack and fill creeks/wet areas on all of our trails.  I had hoped to have a single pass done with the drag on all of our trails before the rain started today but unfortunately there have been a few hiccups the past couple of days and only D101B from the shelter to Oxbow has been panned/groomed with the drag.  We truly need quite a bit more snow in many areas.  Some areas have over 2 feet and other areas barely a foot of snow.

The brush bar works well.  It will take several passes to clear the brush.

The groomer is parked now until after the rain stops and the temps go below zero.  A little rain and then cold temps will help set up a good base.  Hopefully we just get a little.

We won't be able to open the trails until after they have been panned/groomed at least once and checked again after this warm spell for water and wash outs.  There isn't frost anywhere in the ground that we have bladed down the snow to fill in creeks, etc.  Creeks are still flowing steadily.
