The ASC Team has been busy getting trails ready for the season. Depending on the weather, etc we are probably still about a week away from opening. Please check the OFSC ITG for current updates.
We are in need of some help to get the following jobs done.
1 - Trails 78 and 79 have been packed but they are in need of brushing. You will require a snowmobile, chainsaw and/or branch cutters to help with this.
2 - We have a new trail in the ditch along Limberlost Road. This trail crosses several driveways and it will have to be signed properly. We will supply the posts, signs and the tools necessary for installation. If you don't have a snowmobile, this can easily be done by car.
3 - Dotty Lake and Penn Lake need to be drilled to check the thickness of the ice. If sufficient, they could be staked.
Lake of Bays could also be checked depending on how time goes.
The plan is to meet at the south end of trail 78 where it meets Hutcheson Road, at 10 AM this Saturday January 27, 20204.
